Careers advice in Wednesbury and West Bromwich

Young people age 16 to 29 are invited to come to careers advice sessions to get free advice from experts.

Sessions take place on Wednesday 19 September at Wednesbury Leisure Centre and Wednesday 26 September at West Bromwich Leisure Centre both at 12midday until 2pm.

Advice sessions, called 'Make an Impact', are for all young people who are not in education or training and are provided by Connexions Sandwell. There will be advice on careers, apprenticeships, qualifications, training courses and much more. Councillor Simon Hackett, cabinet member for children's services said:

"One of my main priorities is to make sure young people are getting the right advice to give them the best future. These events will give young people the support the need to get them ready for the workplace and I urge people come along."

For further information and advice about college, training, apprenticeships or employment young people visit the Connexions Sandwell website.
