Comedy legend Mick Miller in Stourbridge this weekend

Comedy legend Mick Miller is performing two intimate shows in Stourbridge this weekend.

The 72-year-old stand up veteran is performing two extended 45 minute sets at Fitz of Laughter Comedy Club, Katie Fitzgerald’s, Wollaston, at 5pm and 8.30pm tomorrow (12th March).

There are just four tickets left for the 8.30pm show, with seats also filling fast for the 5pm performance.

Miller has enjoyed a career in showbiz spanning well over 40 years, after first coming to prominence on iconic ITV show The Comedians alongside the likes of Stan Boardman and Roy Walker. Guest appearances on the likes of Blankety Blank and 3-2-1 followed.

Most recently the comic was seen on major ITV series Last Laugh in Vegas, and has also had cameo parts in Ideal with Johnny Vegas and Peter Kay’s Car Share.

He will be supported on both shows by Black Country comic Nipper Thomas, also a veteran on the circuit and the winner of the prestigious Silver Stand Up Award at Leicester Comedy Festival in 2019. Wayne Beese, whose company Funny Beeseness is promoting and putting on the show, said:

“We’re absolutely delighted to be welcoming Mick to Stourbridge. We thought he would be popular and judging by the way the tickets have flown out he still very much has a loyal following of fans, a massive tribute to how good he still is after four decades on the circuit.

“Old school stand-up, with the jokes coming thick and fast, still has a place on the circuit and if you like that kind of thing, you will absolutely love Mick and Nipper for that matter.

“There are a few tickets left for both shows, so we would urge people to get in quick to avoid missing out.”

Tickets priced at £15 are available at funnybeeseness.co.uk.
