Cricket Club bonfire sells out nearly a week in advance

Tickets for the Halesowen Cricket Club Bonfire and Fireworks have sold out with nearly a week to go until the event.

Halesowen Cricket Club's annual bonfire and firework display at their Seth Somers Park ground is set to return this Friday, November 5th, after a one-year absence due to Covid-19.

Following the sold-out event in 2019, Halesowen Cricket Club is excited to hold the spectacular fireworks display once again. However, no tickets will be available at the gate this year.

The event reached its limited capacity on Saturday morning. Event organisers are also encouraging people to use public transport and walk to the event where possible. Club Chairman Rob Reeves said:

"Lots of people are excited to attend their first event for a couple of years and the event has reached maximum capacity very quickly. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer ticket sales on the gate this year.

"We understand that a lot of people will be disappointed not to be able to attend. It's a real shame to disappoint people who still want tickets, but unfortunately, we only have so much space here at the cricket ground. We are now concentrating on delivering a really enjoyable event for everyone who attends.

The large family funfair will also be making a return, with a wide range of rides and attractions, so there'll be plenty to keep the whole family entertained.

Lots of food stalls, including candy floss, toffee apple and a sweet stall, alongside burger vans serving hot food, will all be available in the ground to give everyone the full funfair experience.

New for the 2021 event sees a DJ on stage in front of the Club House and a fire show. The event will also have several bars serving a range of alcohol and soft drinks.
