Driver jailed for causing death of Himley teenager

A driver who killed a Himley teenager when he crashed into her car at nearly 100mph has been jailed for six years.

Kuba Oles hit Georgie Evans' Ford Fiesta so hard it split the car in two in October, last year, in Priory Road, Dudley. He then fled the scene as two men pulled Miss Evans from the wreck.

24 year-old Oles, of Beaconview Road, West Bromwich who’d been arrested for dangerous driving only weeks before, later handed himself into police. He initially tried to blame the teenager for the crash, but later admitted causing the accident.
