Fire breaks out at Dudley College

Fire broke out at the Broadway campus of Dudley College last night, just before 5pm.

Four fire engines - two from nearby Dudley Fire Station, one from Tipton and one from Brierley Hill - were sent to the campus after the blaze broke out in a storage room. Nobody was hurt. A spokesperson for Dudley College said:

"There was a small fire in the E Block of the Broadway campus this evening (Monday 1 April).

"This was quickly dealt with by West Midlands Fire Service and the Broadway site and all other sites will be open as normal on Tuesday 2nd April."
