Children and their parents can have fun with a range of swim classes and play sessions at Dudley Leisure Centre.

A four week pre-school swimming course aimed at children aged three and four years old starts on Monday 26 February. The 30 minute lessons run at 10.35am and 11.05am on Monday 26 February and the Mondays of 5, 12 and 19 March. A series of four lessons costs £21.20 per child. A 50 per cent discount is available for those with an Options+ leisure discount card.

The centre also runs parent and toddler sessions designed to introduce little ones to swimming. The sessions are led by a qualified instructor and incorporate nursery rhymes and soft toys, allowing children to develop their water confidence and skills in a fun and relaxed environment. Parents and/or carers are required to go in the water with their child. Sessions cost £4.50 and run during term time on Mondays from 12.30pm - 1.30pm, Tuesdays from 9.30am - 10.30am and Thursdays from 9.30am - 10.30am.

For those who prefer to keep their feet dry, there’s an under 5’s fun play session every Thursday from 10.30am - 12noon (term time only) in the main hall. Sessions cost £2.80 and include a snack for the child and drink for the adult. Little ones can join in the fun on a SeaWorld bouncy castle, soft play equipment, slides, baby play area and craft tables. All children must be accompanied by an adult
