Kids Set To Cook Up A Storm At Merry Hill This Half Term

Activities are free for all the family and are open to all ages.

Mini Mary Berry's and pint-sized Paul Hollywood's can get their creative cooking juices flowing at free foodie events for children taking place at intu Merry Hill this half term.

The centre is running the daily cookery events for children after asking local families how they most wanted to fill their free time over the holidays.

The theme was selected by intu’s nationwide shopper view panel, made up of customers at its 14 centres up and down the country, who were polled on the activities they’d most like their children to take part in during the school holidays.

Different activities such as planting vegetable seeds, making creative packed lunches and an afternoon tea party will take place at intu Merry Hill every day from 20th-24th February between 11am and 4pm. Rob Pickersgill, marketing manager at intu Merry Hill, said:

“Many of our guests have young families so we’ll be helping them make the most of half term with the opportunity for children to leave the centre having cooked up amazing treats, or picked up a new skill they can try again at home.

“We hope the theme will put a smile on the face of every little chef in our centre this half term. It’s just one example of the compelling events we hold in our centre all year round made possible thanks to invaluable insight from our customers.”

Activities are free for all the family and are open to all ages. Visit intu.co.uk/merryhill to find details of what’s on and opening hours.
