Last Few St Georges Day Tickets Remaining

People are being urged to grab the last bargain tickets left for St George’s Day celebrations at Dudley Zoological Gardens.

Dudley Council and Dudley Zoological Gardens have teamed up to host a patriotic day to celebrate the legend of St George on Sunday April 23. There are a limited number of tickets still available for people to gain admission to the attraction from 3pm at just £2.50 per person.

Visitors will be able to join in the fun in the 11th century castle’s courtyard with St George themed activities including medieval re-enactments, children’s entertainer Dippy, dragon puppets, stilt walkers, face painting and crafts.

There will also be extra talks and feeds at the penguin and sea lion enclosures for families to enjoy. History talks and ghost tours will be taking place throughout the afternoon and refreshments will be available from the Queen Mary restaurant. Councillor Mohammed Hanif, Mayor of Dudley, said:

“The afternoon will celebrate the legend of St George with lots of fun activities for all of the family.

“I would encourage people to hurry getting their tickets. The last number of limited £2.50 tickets are on sale now to gain entry into the attraction and once they are gone, they are gone.”

Zoo Director, Derek Grove, added:

“We’re delighted to be teaming up with Dudley Council in celebrating St George’s Day again this year and look forward to welcoming borough residents to DZG, for what promises to be another great event.”

People can book tickets for St George’s Day online now by visiting dudleyzoo.org.uk or calling 01384 215313.
