Man in ‘critical condition’ after Dudley bus collision

A pedestrian has been left critically injured after being hit by a bus in Dudley town centre.

A male in his 50s, was injured in the crash on Castle Street this afternoon. 

An air ambulance was called, landing near to the Cousins store on Hall Street. However the patient was taken to the major trauma centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance. 

Road’s in the area were closed while emergency services worked, with drivers urged to avoid Castle Street, Tower Street and New Street.
