Metro Bank appeals for easter egg donations for local charity

Santa’s Black Country Toy Appeal which believes no child should go without at Christmas is taking on the challenge to ensure every local child in need will receive an Easter Egg this year.

Merry Hill's branch of Metro Bank will be collecting local donations of Easter eggs for the charity.

Santa’s Black Country Toy Appeal is a local charity entirely supported by volunteers and local donations. The charity donated over 7047 gifts last Christmas to children and young people in need and is now looking to get 2000 Easter Egg donations for local children aged under sixteen. Rachel Fletcher, local business manager at Metro Bank’s Merry Hill store:

"As a community bank, we actively support charities that will make a difference locally. We are appealing to Black Country residents to help us by popping their Easter egg donations into our store on Two Woods Lane.”

Merry Hill Metro Bank is open for every day for donations from Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6pm, Sunday 11am to 5pm.
