A new weekly Saturday Street market is to be launched in Stourbridge on the 11th of February.

The date has been chosen so that the launch will coincide with St Valentines weekend and the new market will be themed ‘From Stourbridge with Love'. Carrying a fresher brighter image, with more visibility and lots of new stalls, proceedings will be located under the clock on the junction of High Street and Coventry Street. Linda McGillicuddy, Director of LSD Promotions said:

"It's general opinion that good regular markets are vital to town centre regeneration, and in our experience it is all about continuity and location as well as the quality of the stalls. This one will be situated in the heart of the town centre every Saturday, we believe it will compliment the existing cafés, shops, and businesses, building a strong regular customer base and draw people that may not normally shop in Stourbridge.
