Local people from across Dudley South snapped up the opportunity to meet with organisations gathered for Mike Wood MP’s annual Older People’s Information Fair.

The fair, which was held at the Richardson Hall in Wordsley saw people from across the area turnout to speak with a huge range of more than twenty different organisations from West Midlands Police to Barclays Bank, and Dudley Telecare to Sgt Pepper’s Friendship Club. Mike said:
 
“A big thank you to everyone who came along and made this event so useful and informative for our older people. Especially the organisations who gave their time to provide advice and information about the support and connections available for older people across Dudley South."

As well as the opportunity to get information and support, attendees also spoke of how much they enjoyed mixing with others again. One attendee added:

“There’s been such a friendly atmosphere and a very good variety of stalls. It felt wonderful”.
