Police look to trace man after Lye robbery

Police in Dudley are looking to trace a man following a robbery on Chapel Street in Lye on Monday 9th March.

A man in his 60s was approached by another man who put him into a headlock before pinning him to the floor. He stole the man’s wallet and cash before fleeing. Fortunately the man was not hurt but was left extremely shaken by the incident.

Although the images are grainy, officers believe someone will recognise him or have information.

He is described as Asian, aged between 25-30, around 5ft 8ins tall with black curly hair. He was wearing a black tracksuit.
