Postal Votes Are Sent Out For Mayoral Vote

Postal votes are being delivered across the Dudley borough ahead of the West Midlands Combined Authority Mayoral elections next month.

People will be making history when they head to the polls on May 4 to elect the first ever Mayor of the West Midlands.

Postal votes are being delivered from today in Dudley borough to the people who requested them, before the polls open on May 4th. Sarah Norman, chief executive at Dudley Council, said:

“It is really important that people use their vote in this election.

“Not only are they part of history in helping elect the first ever Mayor of the West Midlands, they will be having a say on all sorts of key issues including skills, regeneration and transport.”

Anyone who has requested a postal vote and does not receive it by April 27th can contact the elections team on 01384 814740. Postal votes need to be returned by 10pm on May 4th.
