St Georges Day Ticket Offer At Dudley Zoo

Bargain tickets are available now for St George’s Day celebrations at Dudley Zoological Gardens.

Dudley Council and Dudley Zoological Gardens have teamed up to host a fantastic day to celebrate the legend of St George on Sunday April 23rd. To mark the occasion, the zoo has a limited number of tickets for people to gain admission to the attraction from 3pm at just £2.50 per person.

Visitors will be able to join in the fun in the 11th centurycastle’s courtyard with St George themed activities including medieval re-enactments, children’s entertainer Dippy, dragon puppets, stilt walkers, face painting and crafts.

There will also be extra talks and feeds at the penguin and sea lion enclosures for families to enjoy.  History talks and ghost tours will be taking place throughout the afternoon and refreshments will be available from the Queen Mary restaurant. Councillor Mohammed Hanif, Mayor of Dudley, said:

“Last year’s event was a great afternoon and we are pleased to be working together with Dudley Zoo again this year to bring St George’s Day to life.

“A limited number of £2.50 tickets are available to gain entry into the attraction, so I would urge people to book now and avoid disappointment.”

Zoo Director, Derek Grove, added:

“We’re delighted to be teaming up with Dudley Council in celebrating St George’s Day again this year and look forward to welcoming borough residents to DZG, for what promises to be another great event.”

People can book tickets online now by visiting dudleyzoo.org.uk or calling 01384 215313.
