Stalker forced women to hide in court after ex threatens her

A stalker forced a terrified Dudley woman to take refuge in the towns Magistrates Court when he continued to threaten her life after she ended their relationship.

Mohammed Islam sent his victim pictures of guns, turned up at her place of work and made her life an "absolute misery”, Wolverhampton Crown Court was told.

30 year-old Isalm was set to face magistrates on a stalking charge, but when his victim turned up at the court she was forced to take refuge in the witness service room because of his actions.

Islam, of Imperial Road, Bordesley Green, admitted stalking and two charges of witness intimidation, and was jailed for a total of 16 months.
