Stourbridge man given football banning order

A Stourbridge man has been given a Football Banning Order for his involvement in up to 20 separate incidents across a seven-year period.

27-year-old Benjamin Richardson, from Pebble Close, was given the five-year ban at a hearing at Dudley Magistrates Court.

The court heard that he was mainly involved in disorder at matches involving Wolves, but had also been forced to leave an England match in Poland in 2012.

The banning order prevents him from attending games and being within five miles of where Wolves and England are playing three hours before and after a match.
