Timberland steps into intu Merry Hill this week

Footwear favourite Timberland has opened the doors to its first store in the Black Country at intu Merry Hill.

Customers were welcomed to the new 2,100 sq ft space to enjoy the outdoor specialist’s wide range of footwear, clothing and accessories for men, women and children. Robert Pickersgill, marketing manager at intu Merry Hill, said:

“The Timberland launch was a great success, and we’re sure that it will continue to be a hit with our shoppers.

“We’re proud to be the home to some of the biggest and best brands in the UK. We’ve committed to investing heavily in our centre to make sure customers leave happier than when they first arrived and continuing to attract big retail brands like Timberland is one of the way we can do that.”

The iconic brand joins a host of major new tenants opening their doors at the centre with Next launching one of their largest stores in Europe earlier this year. Primark, River Island and JD have all invested heavily in store expansions in recent months. This follows intu’s commitment to spending more than £100 million on improving the centre.
