Councillors across Dudley borough are now just a click away after an online directory was created which includes all new councillors on the authority.

It is part of the council’s commitment to create closer links with people across the borough. The directory gives contact information for councillors and the areas they serve, along with a picture of them and an outline of the committees they sit on.

There are also tips on reporting issues such as graffiti, potholes and litter, the political make-up of the authority and an outline of the community forums. Councillor Patrick Harley, leader of the council, said:

"We want to provide borough residents with the tools to allow them to quickly contact their local councillors, who can help them with problems and give advice.

"This is particularly important this year as we have 14 new councillors on the authority who people will not have dealt with before, but are ready and happy to help residents with any issues.

"The poster is a useful tool to give people the opportunity to work with councillors across the borough and bring about improvements in communities for everyone."
