Have a splashing time in Dudley

There are lots of activities on offer at Dudley Leisure Centre this half term to help keep youngsters entertained.

Children can enjoy ‘Bostin Bruce’ the fun inflatable aqua pool run, with obstacles and a challenge section with slide from 1.45pm to 2.45pm on Tuesday 31 May and Thursday 2 June. Suitable for eight to 15 year olds who can swim 25 metres or more, the activity costs £3 per child and juniors can stay in the pool for a swim for just £1 extra afterwards.

Activezone offers a day of fun including dance mats, Nintendo Wii, multi skill activities, craft sessions, swimming and team games including football, rounders, basketball and badminton for just £20 per day. Activezone will run on Tuesday 31 May and Thursday 2 June from 9am to 4pm and is suitable for children aged eight to 14.

Juniors under the age of 16 can also get a 50 per cent discount on a casual, no booking in advance basis, on courts for badminton, squash, 5-a-side football, netball and basketball. Alan Lunt, strategic director for place, said:

“This half term Dudley Council is organising lots of fantastic activities across the borough including activities at libraries and parks and I would encourage parents to find out more about them by visiting dudley.gov.uk/schoolsout."

Pre-booking at reception is recommended for most of the school holiday activities. A 50 per cent discount is available with an Options+ leisure discount card.
