intu Merry Hill goes spooky for Halloween

Children and adults alike are invited to take part in a special trick-or-treat trail at intu Merry Hill this Halloween.

As part of the shopping centre's free family club offering, five ‘spook stations’ will appear inside the mall's on Wednesday 31 October to surprise and frighten shoppers between 12pm and 5pm.

Each spooky stop will see families receive sweet treats from a range of creepy characters, including witches, wizards and phantoms. A ‘Day of the Dead’, or ‘Dia de los Muertos’, parade will also come to life at 4pm, where guests are encouraged to dress up in their most frightening fancy dress and join in the fun. Dan Murphy, regional centre director at intu Merry Hill, said:

“Halloween is the perfect opportunity to bring the family together, and we can’t wait for our shoppers to see what we’ve got in store for them.

“Our trick or treat trail is sure to put a smile on the face of every little monster, with entertaining and educational themes from around the world that are free for the entire family to enjoy.”

You can visit Customer Services on the lower mall, near to Holland & Barrett, from Monday 22nd October to sign up to intu family club and collect a free treat bag to join the trick-or-treat trail.
