TV comic John Bishop is bringing his eagerly awaited new stand-up show to Dudley next year.

The popular Scouser - who has hosted his own shows including 'The John Bishop Show' and 'John Bishop: In Conversation With' – will be at Dudley Town Hall on Tuesday October 5 next year.

Bishop has also appeared on shows including 'A League of Their Own', 'Live At The Apollo', 'Mock The Week' and 'QI'.

Tickets for the new show, called 'Right Here, Right Now', go on sale from 10am on Friday and are expected to be snapped up quickly. Alex Jackson, booker for Dudley Borough Halls, said:

"We're hugely excited to welcome the wonderful John Bishop back to Dudley Town Hall next year with his brand new stand-up show. This is a unique chance for the people of the Black Country to see a bona fide comedy superstar up-close in an intimate environment."

Tickets cost £35 and are available from Friday online at boroughhalls.co.uk or by calling the box office on 01384 812 812. Doors will open at 7pm, with the show starting at 8pm.
