Local hospice asks Wolverhampton for life advice messages

Compton Care is taking to the streets of Wolverhampton next week, asking members of the public for life advice contributions which will be used in an upcoming video to celebrate the charity’s 40th birthday.

The question, ‘What’s the one piece of advice you’d give someone to help them live a good quality life?’, will be used to initiate conversations around the topic and to reaffirm that, with an early referral to its services, Compton is there to help its patients to live their best life possible following their diagnosis.

The roadshow vehicle will be outside Accident & Emergency at New Cross Hospital on Wednesday 4th May and Wolverhampton City Centre on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th May between the times of 11am – 4pm, with representatives from various areas of the charity present on each day. Grace Lee, Head of Communications at Compton Care, said:

““Providing our patients and families with the tools, encouragement and support they need to live a good quality life, for as long as possible, is at the heart of Compton”.

““We can’t wait to open up conversations with the people of Wolverhampton and to find out what their one piece of advice would be.””

Collected responses will be used in a video titled ‘40 ways to live a good quality life’, in line with the celebrations for 40 years of Compton Care.

Those taking part will have the opportunity to fill in a card with their advice, however anyone can get in touch with their response by emailing marketing@comptoncare.org.uk or contacting the charity via social media.
