Police ask for help to catch Brierley Hill crook

Police in Brierley Hill are appealing for the public's help after a man was stabbed during a robbery in the town on the night of Monday 13 January.

A 28-year-old man was attacked in his black Toyota estate before the car was stolen in Lower Derry Street at around 7.15pm.

He went to nearby Hill Street, where staff in a shop called police and ambulance. He’s currently in hospital for treatment for his injuries which thankfully are not thought to be life-threatening.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have dashcam footage, or who may have seen the car - a black Toyota estate, registration N529 YEO - in the area.
