From Greggs, to Pizza Hut, as hoards of people go plant-based for Veganuary, large numbers of high street food chains are launching vegan additions to their menus from today.

Whether it's McDonald's start selling its first ever fully vegan meal or Pizza Hut launching its non-meat pepperoni pizza, we've rounded up the top vegan offerings below from all the major outlets:
 

Greggs Vegan Steak Bake
From £1.55

The vegan steak bake has been created to mirror some of the original snack’s features, including 96 thin layers of puff pastry but without the egg glaze. The filling is made with pieces of Quorn instead of beef, mixed with diced onions and meat-free gravy.

It will go on sale in 1,300 shops from today before being rolled out to the remaining 700 outlets on 16th January.

Costa's Vegan Ham and CheeZe Toastie
£2.95

Featuring Quorn Smoky Ham and tasty melted vegan cheese (dubbed CheeZe), the bread used is also certified vegan.

Pizza Hut PepperPHONI Pizza

The classic pepperoni is instead replaced with meat-free ‘Pepperphoni’, made from pea protein, before being topped with Violife vegan cheese.

KFC Vegan Burger
£3.99

A bespoke Quorn fillet replaces the standard chicken one, but it's all still coated in the Colonel’s Original Recipe of 11 secret herbs and spices, plus lettuce and vegan mayo, all housed in a soft glazed bun.

McDonald's Veggie Dippers
From £2.99

Made with red pepper, rice, sundried tomato pesto and split peas, they're then coated with light and crispy breadcrumbs, and have been certified as vegan compliant as well as gluten free. THey're available on their own or as part of either a Happy Meal or Extra Value Meal.

M&S Vegan Chicken Kiev

Celebrating 40 years since they first brought the regular chicken kiev to British homes, M&S are selling a soya based kiev paired with a vegan-friendly garlic sauce and then coated in golden breadcrumbs.
