Come along to Brierley Hill Library to hear Kevin Goodman talk about the dreadful diseases prevalent in the Black Country during Victorian times. While being an area of industry and wealth, many inhabitants shared cramped, overcrowded homes with poor access to clean water, leading to the spread of several deadly diseases.
