For the mere sake of adventure, danger, and the “fun of the thing”, Wyndham Brandon persuades his weak minded friend, Charles Granillo, to assist him in the murder of a fellow undergraduate.
They place the body in a wooden chest, and to add insult to injury, invite a few acquaintances, including the dead youth’s father, to a party, using the boy’s makeshift coffin as a supper table.

As the thunder grows outside, the horror and tension rises inside. Will the duo be found out? Or did they truly commit the perfect murder?

Dudley Little Theatre are kicking off their 78th season with Patrick Hamilton’s classic thriller, just in time for the Halloween season. Come along, if you dare…
