Annual celebration - laughter to promote World Peace and World Health
More Information (Black Country Radio is not responsible for external websites)
Since 1998, the Laughter Yoga Movement has celebrated the first Sunday in March all around the world where Laughter Yogis invite local people to join them for playful laughter and deep yogic breathing to promote World Peace and World Health.
I have run this free celebration event at Mary Stevens Park, Stourbridge since around 2014 and am looking forward to reaching out to local people and families to join us.
Think about how spontaneous laughter is to children. They don’t need a reason to laugh - they just do it. Giggles, chortles, snortles, belly laughs, uncontrollable laughter that goes on and on. As adults there is no reason why we cannot do this too. This is what we do in Laughter Yoga as it is unconditional laughter that comes from the heart and doesn’t need humour, jokes and comedy. I have run Laughter Yoga sessions where the shear mention that we are going to laugh has set people off. How good is that!
This is a family event and I invite the children to lead the adults into just letting the laughter flow. There will be smiles on everyone's faces and joy in everyone's hearts.
