Scheduled improvement works are set to start at Andrew Road car park in Halesowen next week.
The works which are part of the council’s ongoing capital improvement programme, will see the car park shut late on August 31 with the work itself set to start on 1 September. Work should take two days to complete.
A significant part of the site will be planed off and resurfaced, with parking bay markings re-marked on completion.
Councillor Simon Phipps, cabinet member for economy and infrastructure, said: "These improvement works will help ensure Andrew Road car park remains safe, accessible and fit for purpose for the many residents and visitors who use it.
"We appreciate motorists' patience during the temporary closure and would encourage anyone with a vehicle parked in the car park to remove it before access is restricted."
Access will be shut off from the evening of 31 August and drivers are advised to remove their vehicles before 7pm.
Access to the car park will not be possible until the work is completed.
