Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian was seriously injured following a collision in Dudley on 28th October.
Officers were called after a man was struck by a car at the crossroads of Himley Road, Cinder Road and Bull Street just before 6pm. The 76-year-old was rushed to hospital with head injuries and remains in a serious condition.
The collision is believed to have happened as the man was crossing Himley Road and the car was turning right from Cinder Road. The driver of the car remained at the scene and is assisting officers with the investigation. Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:
“We are in the early stages of this investigation and I am asking for anyone who witnessed the collision and hasn’t already spoken to us to get in touch.
"I am particularly keen to hear from anybody who has dash cam or CCTV which can assist with our enquiries."
