An incident which saw armed police officers on the streets of Bewdley was over concerns for the safety of a man who was brandishing two axes.
Police arrived at the scene in Load Street at around 4.40 on Wednesday afternoon, responding to reports of a vulnerable man threatening to harm himself in a private residence.
The incident was later resolved and no one was injured.
