Bid for your chance to dress like a Peaky Blinder

An Appeal launched by Acorns Children’s Hospice is set to benefit thanks to an auction of eight Garrison Tailors suits donated by Peaky Blinders creator and Acorns supporter, Steven Knight.

The suits, famously worn by Birmingham City Football Club stars for their 2019/20 Season kit launch, are available through silent auction in aid of the £2 million Save Acorns Black Country Hospice Appeal.

Longstanding supporter of Acorns, Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders creator/writer and avid Blues fan), has donated the outfits made by his own luxury menswear label, Garrison Tailors. The suits, handmade by craftsmen in Britain, using the best British made fabrics were worn by Blues stars including Lukas Jutkiewicz, Maxime Colin, and Kristian Pedersen. Vicki Rowles, Head of Fundraising at Acorns, said:

“For Peaky Blinders and Blues fans alike, this is an amazing opportunity to get the Shelby-look and own a piece of truly iconic tailoring.

“To anyone interested – don’t delay. The money raised will go directly to our Appeal to save the hospice. The auction ends this Thursday, so please get bidding and let’s raise lots of money for the children and families across the Black Country that need us.”

The suits are being auctioned by Birmingham-based Eventmasters Group on behalf of Acorns through an online silent auction site created by their specialist digital marketing agency Soar Enterprises Online. Garrison Tailors have also donated 100% tweed caps to complete each outfit. Vicki added:

“We’re extremely grateful to Steven Knight, Garrison Tailors and Blues for allowing us access to the suits, and a huge thanks to Eventmasters UK and Soar Enterprises Online for their time, kindness and support in creating the auction.”

The auction, which is now live, ends at 23:59 on Thursday 28 November, with each suit starting at a £200 reserve. The Save Acorns Black Country Hospice Appeal was launched by Acorns to raise £2 million towards its hospice based in Walsall and the 233 children and their families that use its services.
