Black Country Chamber reveals finalists for 2025 Business Awards

60 different companies have been named as finalists for one of the most prestigious awards events in the Midlands, celebrating the very best in Black Country businesses.

The Black Country Chamber of Commerce has announced the finalists for its 2025 Business Awards, after receiving more than 150 entries from businesses across the Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton region.

This year's awards celebrate the theme ‘Making History Every Day’ and recognise outstanding achievement across 12 categories. The finalists will be celebrated at a black-tie ceremony on November 20 at the University of Wolverhampton venue, The Halls. The University is also the awards’ headline sponsor of the 2025 awards.

Training provider Juniper Training has secured the most finalist positions with four nominations, followed by several organisations with two finalist places each including Compton Care, Wolves Foundation, BlackRook Academy, InPower Academy CIC, NICS Wellbeing CIC, Union Fasteners and In-Comm Training & Business Services Ltd.

Black Country Chamber of Commerce chief executive, Sarah Moorhouse said: "We received around 150 inspiring submissions this year, highlighting the breadth of innovation, determination and talent we have across our region.

“Our finalists truly embody this year's theme of 'Making History Every Day' through their outstanding achievements and contributions to the Black Country business landscape.

“The flagship award of Business of the Year will also be named on the night and chosen from this list of finalists. Congratulations to all of our shortlisted companies and we look forward to celebrating with you all on November 20."

The full 2025 list of finalists can be found on the Chamber's website.

Sarah added: “As the leading business support organisation for firms in the region, the Chamber stages the awards not only to celebrate the best of the Black Country, but also to give a platform for businesses looking to grow, connect and be part of a thriving network.

“The winners of these awards will also be part of our new ‘Bostin’ Black Country Business’ campaign, which shines a light on how our region makes a vital contribution to UK plc.”

Tickets for the event are priced from £135 each, which includes a three-course dinner, entertainment and the opportunity to network with the Black Country's leading businesses.

They are available from September 15 on the Chamber's website at blackcountrychamber.co.uk.
