Bodycare prepares for big return to Merry Hill

Bodycare is pulling out all the stops for its grand re-opening at Merry Hill this Saturday, with a line-up of beauty influencers and a secret headline performance that shoppers won't want to miss.

The grand opening will be hosted by celebrity Trewley Precious, star of Channel 4's The Secret Lives of Gypsy Wives and beauty guru and presenter William Grande (Snatched By Will) alongside Bodycare's very own Emma Bellamy and CEO Charles Denton.

Joining them on the day will be famous faces, including Freddie Bentley from 'The Only Way Is Essex', Montanna Thompson, best known as Justine Littlewood in The Story of Tracy Beaker and BBC Glow series six winners, Shania Parris, Mawuse Rose and Simran Kaur.

Bodycare CMO, Tash Courtenay-Smith said: “We've brought together household names, brilliant creators and the local people who make Merry Hill special, we are so happy to be back.

"The all new Bodycare is about community and discovery: new products every week, great prices and a store that's a place to have fun. Saturday will be the best possible introduction.”

Trewley Precious said “I’m so excited to be at Merry Hill celebrating the grand opening of Bodycare’s brand-new store! Everyone who knows me knows I’m all about looking iconic on a budget, so this partnership really is a match made in beauty heaven!

“One of the things I love most about Bodycare’s new stores is the free Creator Studios. I grew up in one of the most deprived areas in the UK and started my influencer journey with no money behind me, filming makeup tutorials in my bedroom at my family home. So I know first-hand how difficult it can be to create high-quality content when you’re just starting out and don’t have access to the right equipment or resources.

“That’s why I think Bodycare’s free Creator Studios are such a brilliant idea. They give the next generation of creators access to a professional space and the tools they need to bring their ideas to life, without having to spend a fortune. I would have absolutely loved to have something like this when I was starting out.

“I love that Bodycare is making both beauty and content creation more accessible and helping to remove some of the barriers that can hold young creators back. I can’t wait to explore the new store, check out the Creator Studio and, most importantly, meet some of my amazing West Midlands fans.”

The much-loved beauty retailer returns to its original unit on the lower mall, opposite Asda, with doors opening at 10am.
