Officers from Brierley Hill police station have seized two uninsured vehicles being driven erratically through the Black Country.
Officers from C unit response saw a lorry being driven at high speed on Brierley Hill Road in Wordsley. After stopping the driver, it emerged that he was disqualified from driving and subsequently failed a roadside breath test.
He was arrested on suspicion of disqualified driving and driving over the prescribed limit and remains in custody. The lorry was seized under the road traffic act.
Soon after, officers saw a car on Hickman Road, Brierley Hill. The driver failed to stop, losing control and colliding with a wall before making off on foot.
A police dog attended the scene but unfortunately couldn't locate the offender. The car has now been seized for being used without insurance.
