Cadbury World unveil spectacular chocolate nutcracker at Birmingham Hippodrome

This Christmas, Cadbury World has revealed a truly sweet spectacle with its latest chocolate creation; a Fruit and Nutcracker.

A festive show-stopper made entirely from Cadbury chocolate, the creation has been unveiled as Birmingham Royal Ballet return with their magical production of The Nutcracker until December 13th.  

Every detail of the festive figure has been lovingly handcrafted by Cadbury World’s expert chocolatiers, from its boots, belt and buttons. The delectable doll was crafted from no less than 25kg of Cadbury Chocolate and stands at 90cm tall.

In a scene straight from a festive dream, the grand reveal took place at the heart of the Birmingham Hippodrome, alongside the talented ensemble of Sir Peter Wright’s The Nutcracker.

The charming chocolate creation stood tall as ballerinas twirled and pirouetted blending timeless tradition with a little Cadbury World Christmas magic, harking back to Cadbury Fruit and Nut’s iconic 1970s advert which featured Tchaikovsky’s famous music.

Speaking about the festive masterpiece Nathan Barnett, General Manager at Cadbury World said: “We’re thrilled to unveil our latest festive creation, the Fruit and Nutcracker, alongside the Royal Ballet.

"Crafted entirely from Cadbury chocolate, our talented team of chocolatiers have poured hours of skill, care and creativity into bringing this seasonal showstopper to life, from the intricate detailing on the uniform to the perfect festive finish."

Following its delicious debut at the Birmingham Hippodrome, the Fruit and Nutcracker will be on display at Cadbury World from 14th December to 24th December, where guests can snap a seasonal selfie and marvel at this choc-tacular creation.
