A renowned local hotel and restaurant will be hosting a festive afternoon tea for the Mary Stevens Hospice.
The Granary Hotel and Restaurant, based just outside of Kidderminster, is hosting the event being organised by the Stourbridge hospice which will include mulled wine and a live Christmas show provided by Jamie Knight and the Manuka Trio.
Last year's Festive Afternoon Tea at Stone Manor sold out, raising £1512.02 for the families relying on the care of the Hagley Road hospice. The event will start at 2pm on Sunday 10th December, and is expected to finish around about 6pm. Diane Moore, Event Organiser, Mary Stevens Hospice Group said:
“What better excuse to get a group together to celebrate the holiday season and support our families than by doing so over a slice of cake and a lovely cup of tea.
"Jamie Knight and his band are a real crowd-pleaser, The Granary is a fantastic venue and their kitchen is renowned across the region, all of which ensures this is going to be a great event. We'd love to see as many people there enjoying it with us as possible!”
Tickets cost £18.75 and can be booked by calling 01384 377 778 or by visiting marystevenshospice.co.uk.
This event is one of 5 that the Hospice are organising to commemorate the holiday season, including a free community fun weekend, a Christmas carol concert, the charity's annual Santa Jog and ending with a Christmas tree collection service during the first weekend of January.
