A screening of the film classic Scrooge, with the original music being played by a live orchestra is on at Stourbridge Town Hall in the run up to Christmas.
The 1951 film is being brought back to life by the FB Pocket Orchestra in Scrooge Live, which shows on Wednesday December 17.
Rupert Knowlden, venues manager for Dudley Borough Halls, said: “This is unlike anything we have ever put on at the town halls before and is an experience not to be missed.
“The original music, thought lost after the original sheets were discarded, has been painstakingly revived by arranger Paul Stevenson.
“Through countless listenings of the film, Paul meticulously deciphered every note, reimagining the orchestration to suit the ensemble of live instruments available for the performance.
“The result is a one-of-a-kind event where audiences can experience the magic of Scrooge with a live soundtrack, breathing new life into a timeless holiday classic."
A few tickets are still available and can be booked online at boroughhalls.co.uk or by calling the box office on 01384 812 812.
