Feel festive with a community focussed Christmas tree festival at Wordsley’s Red House Glass Cone this December.
The ever-popular Christmas Tree Festival is already underway and runs until 6 January, showcasing a dazzling display of creatively decorated trees. Entry is free. Schools, businesses, charities and community groups have all decorated a tree, with more than 30 trees dotted around the historic site.
The craft studios, hot glass studio and site shop are open for business for thoughtful and unique Christmas gifts.
The heavenly baking coffee house at the cone is serving up its Christmas menu with yorkshire pudding wraps, festive baps and a host of delicious cakes.
There’s a free story time session for preschoolers delivered by Dudley libraries on Tuesday 16 December at 10.30am. No need to book just drop in
Councillor Damian Corfield, cabinet member for neighbourhoods said: “This year’s Christmas Tree Festival has truly been our best yet, showcasing more than 30 beautifully decorated trees.
"The dedication and creativity from everyone involved shines through, making the event a wonderful success that has drawn in many visitors. The whole site has been transformed into a festive wonderland.”
