The leader and deputy leader of Dudley Council took live questions from residents in a one- hour facebook live session earlier this week.
People put more than 100 questions to Councillor Patrick Harley and Councillor Paul Bradley on Wednesday evening in the latest Leader Live session.
Both of the senior politicians answered as many questions as time permitted in a live video which is available to view on the Dudley borough Facebook page.
Councillor Patrick Harley, leader of Dudley Council, said “One of the seven themes of our one year council plan is community engagement and it was really interesting and useful to hear from our residents about issues which matter to them.
“Lots of different topics came up and we did our best to answer as many as we could on the night. I would encourage resident to use subsequent leader live sessions to let us know what matters to them.
“I’d also remind people that you can contact your local councillor whenever you have an issue they can help with and also come along to one of our community forums which restart in June.”
The Leader Live sessions have been running since 2018 and give people the chance to raise issues that matter to them and complement the community forums which meet at venues across the borough.
The five forums are set to return in the summer:
9 Jun 2025 18:30 - Halesowen Forum
16 Jun 2025 18:30 - Dudley Forum
18 Jun 2025 18:30 - Brierley Hill Forum
23 Jun 2025 18:30 - Dudley North Forum
30 Jun 2025 18:30 - Stourbridge Forum
Residents are reminded they can find the contact details for their local councillor at dudley.gov.uk.
