Court hears how doctor “definitely carried out a sex act”

A court’s been hearing how a Dudley doctor sexually assaulted a female patient at his surgery

The Dudley woman told a jury at Wolverhampton Crown Court that Dr Jaswant Rathore “definitely carried out a sex act” when she went to visit him for treatment to her hip and back.

It’s alleged that Dr Rathore, of Ploughmans Walk, Wall Heath, sexually assaulted eight of his patients at the Castle Meadows Surgery to fulfil his “illicit sexual desires”.

Rathore has pleaded not guilty to 18 charges of sexual assault alleged to have been committed between November 2008 and March 2015. The trial continues.
