Cradley Heath Girl Wows Judges In Talent Competition

A nine-year-old Cradley Heath girl has impressed talent judges with her singing and dancing ability at the TeenStar auditions.

Olivia Hanks competed and made it through to the Regional Finals of the UK’s only singing and dancing competition exclusively for teens and pre-teens, and will now be performing in The Live Regional Finals.

The youngster entered both the singing and dancing categories for her age group and reached the  regional finals in both sections. Olivia performed a contemporary dance to ‘Half The World Away’ by Aurora and sang the Bette Middler Classic ‘Don’t Rain On My Parade’ from the musical Funny Girl.

The up and coming star has been dancing for 3 years at Rhythmics Dance Centre in Cradley Heath and counts singing, dancing, acting and gymnastics amongst her hobbies. She hopes to be a West End actress when she is older.

Thousands of hopefuls entered TeenStar nationwide for a chance to win a place at the National Grand Final. The Regional Final takes place on Saturday 8th April, at Birmingham’s NEC.

They will perform in front of hundreds of audience members and a professional judging panel to win a place at the National Grand Final.
