A man who admitted causing the death of a young mother by dangerous driving has been warned he faces a long spell behind bars.
Tyler Kendall had been hitting “excessive speed" when he ploughed his BMW into a car being driven by Vikki Jones in Lower Gornal. Robert Price, prosecuting, told Wolverhampton Crown Court that investigating officers had estimated that Kendal had hit 75mph just 75 metres before the point of impact.
He then fled the scene of the crash on Wood Road in September last year. 30 year-old Ms Jones, died after suffering "catastrophic" injuries. Her 11-year-old daughter was also seriously hurt.
22 year-old Kendall of Whitebeam Close, Lower Gornal was remanded on unconditional bail until May 29th.
