Darts Legends Set To Help Raise Money For Hospice

Four world-class darts professionals will play in a charity exhibition evening at Parkes Hall Social Club in Woodsetton on Saturday 18th March.

Chris "Mace the Ace" Mason will compere as Jelle Klaasen, Jamie Caven, Ian White and Kyle Anderson perform in front of a sold-out crowd in Dudley, before a charity auction and raffle will see guests bid and try to win fantastic sporting memorabilia, as well as the opportunity to play a game against some of the biggest names in professional darts.

Event organiser, Sean Marshall, has endeavoured to raise money for charity since losing his grandad to cancer, already fundraising more than £25,000 already for various deserving causes. He said:

“Since my grandad passed away, I've been committed to raising money for great causes, and unfortunately, a friend of mine and his wife have also had to rely on the support of the Mary Stevens Hospice in the past year.

"There was only really one choice when I decided to bring an evening like this to Dudley. Hopefully everyone enjoys the evening, and let's raise a fantastic amount for a hugely deserving cause.”

Dan Malin, Digital Media Specialist, Mary Stevens Hospice said:

"The fact Sean has been generous enough to take this fantastic occasion and use it to support the Hospice with the profits from the night is just the biggest indication of what sort of a man he is.

"I know that he's doing it for very personal reasons so we're incredibly grateful to him for his hard work and compassion.”

Parkes Hall Social Club can be found at Parkes Hall Road, Woodsetton and will be open on the night from 6pm for VIP ticket holders. There are a very limited number of tickets still available from Sean on 07813 294 631. The main event will begin at 7pm, and run until late.

There are also limited sponsorship opportunities still available, so please contact Sean to enquire about getting your company involved in the evening. To find out more about the work of the Mary Stevens Hospice, please visit marystevenshospice.co.uk.
