The RSPCA is appealing for information after a dead dog was found in the canal at Netherton.
The Jack Russell type dog’s body was discovered on Monday and has now been removed.
A spokesman for the animal welfare charity said: “We are concerned about how this dog died and are keen to hear from anyone who has any information.”
