Driver spared jail for killing Dudley nurse

A Brierley Hill driver who killed a Dudley nurse when he crashed into his motorcycle because he failed to see him has been spared jail.

Christian Davies was on his way to work at Russells Hall Hospital when Alan Holloway drove into his path.

A judge at Wolverhampton Crown Court called it an awful accident with devastating consequences.

Holloway, of Adelaide Street, was given a five-month jail term suspended for 18 months. He was also banned from driving for 18 months.
