Drivers warned of road closure

Motorists in Amblecote are facing long delays after the partial closure of a busy main throughfare from Stourbridge Town Centre.

The A491 at Amblecote High Street will close for traffic travelling towards Wordsley for maintenance work and remain shut until April the 10th.

An alternative route has been created which will involve leaving the ring road via the A458 Enville Street, Bridgnorth Road, A461 High Street and Wollaston Road.

Passengers using the 246 and 247 bus services are advised to embark at Wollaston Road and then catch southbound buses 246, 256 and 257.

Traffic travelling into Stourbridge will remain unaffected.
