Dudley Council has confirmed the latest round of financial cutbacks as it tries to slash a further £20 million from its budget.
More than 130 full-time posts are now expected to be lost at the local authority, with around 150 more jobs set to go in the next three-and-a-half years.
Among the cost-cutting measures, Dudley Museum and Art Gallery is set to be closed, as the council struggles with budget reductions of more than £60 million since 2010.
The authority has defended the decision to shut the museum as it has no disabled access, while Wordsley’s Red House Glass Cone and Dudley Council Plus will see their opening hours reduced.
