Dudley Imam spared jail after being found guilty of sexual assault

A 69 year-old Imam who led prayers at a Dudley Mosque has avoided jail after being found guilty of sexual assault on a vulnerable woman.

Mohammed Habibullah of St George's Road, Dudley, had denied sexually assaulting the woman, but was convicted at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

He was given a six month jail term suspended for 18 months, and must register as a sex offender for the next seven years.
