Dudley Residents Reminded That There's Only 3 Days Left To Register To Vote

There’s just over a week to go to register to vote in the region’s first Mayoral election.

People will be heading to the polls on May 4th to vote in the West Midlands Combined Authority Mayoral Election.

Poll cards are currently being delivered to all homes across Dudley borough and anyone who is already registered should have received a poll card no later than April 3rd.

Residents who do not receive a poll card are being urged to register immediately. Sarah Norman, chief executive and returning officer for Dudley Council, said:

“With just over a week to go, time is running out to make sure people can have their say on who represents our region as Mayor. Unless people are registered by April 13, they won’t be able to vote. Don’t miss out, it’s quick and simple to register and can be done online or over the phone.”

People can register at gov.uk/register-to-vote and will need to use their date of birth and national insurance number. People can also register over the phone by calling 01384 814740. The closing date for registrations is April 13th.
